LegendaryMC is a large medieval fantasy modpack built for exploration, atmosphere, and long-term survival. The idea for this pack came from playing with friends and constantly searching for a medieval or dark fantasy modpack that felt right, but never quite finding one that fit what we were looking for. So instead of waiting, this pack slowly grew out of testing, combining, and tweaking many existing mods until it felt cohesive enough to actually play long-term.
The world is expanded through a combination of terrain, structure, and dungeon mods that add large landscapes, villages, castles, ruins, and underground content. Exploration plays a big role, and many locations are intentionally dangerous early on, encouraging preparation, cooperation, and smart decision-making rather than rushing progression.
Combat and gameplay are shaped by a mix of medieval weapons, armor, magic systems, and combat overhaul mods. Together they create a heavier, more grounded combat feel without turning the game into something overly complex or punishing. Progression is meant to feel steady and rewarding over time, whether you play solo or with others.
At the start, players can choose a role using class and origin-style mods, giving early direction and small starting advantages without forcing strict classes. Villages are enhanced by several mods that add guards, named villagers, improved layouts, and more variety, helping the world feel more alive. Beyond safer areas, dangerous dungeons, ancient ruins, powerful enemies, and world bosses offer long-term challenges.
This modpack is actively played and tested in a small group setting and is shared in that same spirit. While not everything is perfect, it has already been used for several weeks of survival gameplay, which is why the project is now being shared publicly.
For smooth gameplay, it is recommended to allocate at least 8 GB of RAM.
LegendaryMC is free to use and play. All included mods belong to their respective authors <3
